5月の聖句立ち上がって行きなさい。あなたの信仰があなたを救った。
〔ルカによる福音書 17章 19節〕
これは、イエスの言葉です。らい病を治してもらった10人のうちの一人が｢大声で神をたたえながら戻ってきて、イエスの足元にひれ伏して感謝した。｣と聖書に書かれています。この人は、信仰を持っていないと軽蔑されていたサマリアという地方の人でした。イエスにとって出身がどこであるかは関係がないのです。「信仰のある人」とされていたほかの9人ではなく、今、ここで、神様の力を感じ、信じて賛美し、感謝する人を、｢信仰あるもの｣と呼んで下さるのです。
私たちは日々悩みを抱え、たくさんの「願い」を「お祈り」として神様に伝えているかも知れませんが、信じて賛美し感謝を十分神様に伝えているか、ときどき、反省すべきではないでしょうか。子どもは素直です。お友達や先生を喜んで受け入れ、一緒に楽しく遊んで喜び、いつでも「ありがと。」と言えます。自然に神様を賛美し感謝しているかのようです。だから、泣いてしまうようなことがあっても、また「立ち上がって行く」ことができるのかもしれません。明日もまた、「立ち上がって行きなさい。」とイエス様に励まされて歩みましょう。

♪ （園で見かけたすてきなできごとをご紹介します。）
★ ばらのｙちゃんです。「せんせい、おとこのこがね、あそぼうっていうの。わたしはね、ほんとは、おんなのことあそびたいんだけど。」 そこへｒくん、「ｙちゃん、あそぼ。」 ｙちゃんは、こちらをちらっとみて、「いいよ〜。」と言い、走って行きました。
★ すみれのＲくんはお気に入りの手押し車をゆりのaくんが使っていることに気が付きました。もう1台の同じ青い車を持ってきて、「ねぇ、これと交換してほしいんだけど。」と交渉。「？」という表情のaくんに｢通訳｣してあげたところ、すぐに取り替えてくれました。「ありがとう。」と言って走っていくＲくんにはすみれさんの「風格」が漂っていました。
★ 午後になると、気温が急上昇。埃っぽい園庭で空に向けて先生が放水すると、すーっと涼しくなりました。5分ほどして、また放水？ いえ、ゆりぐみの男の子がホースを持ってクネクネ。水は四方八方に飛び散って、大パニック。水道の側に居たＫくんに向かって先生たちが一斉に叫びました。「Ｋちゃん、とめて〜！」タイミングよく蛇口を閉めたＫくんがヒーローになったのはいうまでもありません。水を全身に浴びてしまったお友達もなんだか湯上り気分みたいでうれしそうでした。
★ ゆりぐみさんのお弁当の時間は静かです。みんなよく食べます。終わりまで食べたら、「せんせい、いいですか。」と言って、みてもらってから片付けます。みんなが食べ終わるまで、絵本を見て待っていることができる子も増えてきました。
☆ 5月19日（金）保護者のための講演会は浜崎神父様の「神さまの愛、親の愛」です。卒園生、トトロン会員の保護者の方もぜひご参加ください。とてもわかりやすく心に響くお話をしてくださる、すてきな神父様です。ご期待ください。
☆ ブランコが新しくなりました。「子どもたちのために･･･。」と、ある方が寄付をしてくださったものです。感謝して大切に使いたいと思います。
The biblical phrase of this month—Get up and go; your faith has made you well. (Luke 17:19)
Ten men who had been suffering from a dreaded skin disease were healed. Only one came back, praising God out loud and threw himself to the ground at Jesus’ feet and thanked him. Jesus calls him faithful, regardless of his origin, Samaria, a region where people were thought to be less religious. Jesus says that this man is faithful, rather than other 9 so called believers, because he believes in God right at the moment he feels God’s power, and praises and thanks God.
We may have problems and worries and be constantly expressing our wishes as prayers to God. But do we praise God and thank Him from bottom of our hearts every time we feel His existence? Children, I think, can do so. They are always ready to accept their friends and teachers, to play with them joyfully and say “Thank you” any time. They seem to be praising God and thank God so naturally. That is why they can “Get up and go” again right away, even after they experience hardship that makes them cry. Let us get up and go now, encouraged by these Jesus’ words.

＊ y-chan at Bara says, “Sensei, that boy wants me to play together. I’d rather play with girls, though.” There comes he saying, “y-chan, let’s play.” She gave me a glance and left right away, answering, “Okey!”
＊ R-kun found that a-kun at Yuri is using the very pushcart that he loves most. He brought the same blue pushcart to him and said, “Will you change this with yours?” a-kun looking puzzled, I ‘interpreted’ it and he agreed. R, saying, “Thank you!” went away. I certainly could see a sign of growing up in this Sumire boy.
＊ Yuri children sit still and eat a lot at lunchtime. When they finish, they would show their lunch box to their teacher to check before putting them away. Some fast ones can sit down and look at books while they wait for others to finish.
☞ Father Hamazaki is going to give us a talk on “God’s love, parent’s love” on May 19th. All parents of the children at Uminohoshi Catholic Kindergarten, of those who finished Kindergarten, and of those who come to Totoron-room are invited.
☞ A new set of swings are installed. Let us thank this charitable person who offered it for children and use it with good care.
☞ We also thank you for Yamada-denki who kindly agreed to let us use their parking place for boarding the buses on our school picnic on May 16th. Please pay extra attention to park your car there (Bara and Sumire) or our schoolyard (Yuri) for the day.
たすけあっていますか？ かげていますか、ねぎらいのことば？
妻も夫も育児の“主役”
5月はじめの｢神様のお話｣の時間で、年中、年長のそれぞれの子どもたちは、おかあさんがどんなことをしてくださっているかを考えました。自分が赤ちゃんだったとき、やってもらったことをみんな思い出したり、想像したり･･･。 それから、今おかあさんが自分たちのためにしてくださることも、次々と答えてくれました。「おせんたくしてくれる。」「おそうじも。」「おかいものとか。」「おべんとうつくってくれる。」･･･そういっているうちに、「あっ、おとうさんもやってくれるよ。」「そうだよ、おとうさんも。」という声がどちらのクラスのときも出て、うれしくなりました。
福井県でのある調査によれば、どうも、妻は夫からの育児への理解・協力にほぼ満足しながら、ねぎらい、励ましの言葉を十分にかけていないらしいとのことです。おたくでは、いかがですか。
妻： ほんと、助かってるわ。すなおに育っているのも
あなたが子どもたちをよくみてくれるからね。きっと。
夫： う〜ん、てれるなぁ〜。育児は、ひとりじゃたいへんだ。
