１月の聖句

「どっちがいいんだろう？？？」 毎日の生活の中でわたしたちは迷うことばかり、言い換えれば、毎日が選んで決断することばかりかもしれません。ぐずっている子どもの言うとおりにしてやるのは甘やかしになりはしないか、厳しくしすぎてひねくれることはないか･･･。そんな日常的な悩みから、「習い事は何をさせるのがいいか。」など人生の進路にかかわりそうなことまで。対人関係でも、「Aさんに同意すれば、Bさんは怒ってしまわないだろうか。」「相手を励ますべきか、そっとしておくべきか。」など。そんな時、全面的に信頼できる人が必ずそばに居てくれるとは限りません。
昔から、人々が決断のたびにひも解いたのものの一つは聖書です。探し求める答えが魔法のように出てくる訳ではなくても、判断、決断の基準、人間として一番大切にすべきことに立ち戻ることができます。「愛の道、真理の道」を選ぶ光が見えてくるのです。その道を歩く人は、たとえ険しい道に汗や涙を流しても、ゆるがない一歩一歩を積み重ね、穏やかな成熟した人格へと成長していくに違いありません。この意味で、子どもたちが聴く「かみさまのおはなし」は知らず知らずのうちに一生の宝となることでしょう。
♪♪すてきなようちえん♪♪
（園で見かけたすてきなできごとをご紹介します。）
★ 聖劇の舞台稽古はわずか2週間ほどでしたが、どのクラスもめきめき上手になりました。ゆりぐみさん（年少）は、出番は少なくてもタイミングが難しい。観客席のほうにじっと座って劇の流れを見ている毎日でしたが、いつのまにか出番が近いと気が付くようになり、数人の子が「さあ、いくよ！」と、まるで先生のように声を掛け、さっと、皆が廊下にならびに行けるようになっていました。
★ ｓくんのおかあさんがそっと教えてくださった、いい話。お家のリビングルームで床の上に落ちていたお金をｓくんが拾って「献金箱」に入れようとしました。卒園生であるお姉ちゃんが、「ひろったおかねは、いれたらあかん。マリアさまがかなしむ。」と言ったそうです。ｓくんは「そうか。」と納得。お手伝いをしたとき、上のお姉ちゃんが代わりに小銭を献金箱に入れてくれていたのだとか。すてきな姉弟ですね。
★ 献金と言えば、卒園生のYちゃんは毎年、幼稚園のときのように自分で献金箱を作り、礼拝の日の前に、ずっしりと重い献金箱を幼稚園に届けてくれます。幼稚園でならった他の人のことをおもいやる心をいつまでも育て続けていてくれるのですね。
★ sちゃんが登園するなり、教えてくれました。「きのう、ケーキたべたよ。」そうだ、お誕生日のお祝いをしたのだね、と言うと、「うん、ｓね、すこし、ないちゃった！ みんながおいわいしてくれたら。」うれしくなって、泣いちゃったのね。素直に気持ちが表せるのはすてき！
★ お帰りの時間、歩きコースにならんだｙちゃんがよびました。「じんばもんばせんせい、ｙのくつ（の左右）これであっとる？」じんばもんば：「ざんねん！ 反対でした。履きかえる？」 ｙちゃん：「うぅん、おうちについてから、はきかえるでええわ。」
☆ お餅つきには、地元浜田地区の老人クラブ「福寿会」のお年寄りが25名来てくださいました。お餅をついたて、皆で一緒に味わってから、紙飛行機をつくり、飛距離を競い合いました。童謡を一緒に歌いました。何人かのお母様から、「これまで食べられなかったお餅が好きになったようです。」「たのしかったと何度も言いました。」との報告がありました。
☆ 12月のアジア地域留学生の訪問も楽しい一時でした。園児は歌やハンドベルを披露し、外で「こおり鬼」やボールで留学生と一緒に遊びました。付き添いの先生から、「お話がよく聞ける子どもたちですね。」とお褒めの言葉をいただきました。
☆ 英語参観はできるだけ普段のレッスンの様子を再現できるようにと、考えています。楽しそうな雰囲気をご覧下さい。
☆ 2月1日（金）は、防災講座で、子どもたちと一緒に地震に備えるためのお話を聞いていただき、その後保護者の皆さんはAEDの使い方の講習を消防署のかたに指導していただきます。ぜひ、奮ってご参加ください。

１年間のカリキュラムを立てて、英語のレッスンは進んでいます。教材は英語の歌とゲーム、カード、絵本など。
年少、年中の間の達成目標は次のとおりです。
歌うことで英語の、日本語にない発音、イントネーションに慣れること
アルファベットに接すること
はじめての表現を楽しんで使うこと
年長では、これらの上に積み重ねて、次の目標に向けて、日本語を使わずに行うレッスンです。
英語で指示を受けて行動すること
英語の表現を聞き取り楽しむこと
英語で表現することを楽しむこと
参観日にはいつもの楽しいレッスンの様子を見ていただきます。

“What shall I do?” We constantly come across choices and
decisions. In other words, your childcare is a series of
decisions from tiny ones such as whether to scold your
child strictly or to wait generously to rather serious ones
such as what kind of training besides school should you
give to him or her. You may also confront rather sensitive
situation with your friends: If you agree with A, B may
get angry; you should encourage your depressed friend or
leave her alone.
People would open the Bible to seek for their answers for
many centuries. It would often give you a good hint to
any difficult question, because there is a light to guide
you to walk on the way of love and truth. Those who walk
on it, no matter how hard it would be, will walk steadily,
wearing a peaceful smile, and grow to be a matured person.
Our “Kamisamano Ohanashi” will help to lead your children
to this way.
♪♪Sutekina Yochien♪♪
★ Though we only had two weeks for the preparation
of the Christmas play, our children improved their skills
and behavior very fast. Yuri children had a few lines
to say but the timing to say them was quite difficult.
They watched the rehearsals very carefully and learned
exactly when to stand up and get ready. Some stood up
first and called the others to go, just like their
teacher does.
★ S-kun’s mother told me a nice story. S-kun
found a coin on the floor of their living room and felt
lucky as he could put it in his safe for offering. His
sister, who is a former Uminohoshi child, stopped him,
saying, “Don’t. Mother Mary would be sad, if you put
in the money you found on the floor.” S-kun agreed!
This lucky boy has another big sister who would put some
coins in his box, when he helped his mother once in
a while
★ Speaking of “Offering”, Y-chan, who finished
Uminohoshi two years ago, visits us every year before
Christmas, bringing in her offering box, which she makes
just like she did in this kindergarten. How nice to see
that she keeps up her spirit!
★ S-chan told me that she ate her birthday cake
at home. She added, “I cried a bit, as everyone was
so nice to celebrate my birthday!” It’s great, she
can express her feelings so naturally!
★ “Did I put on my shoes on correct sides?”
y-chan asked me, as she was almost leaving for home.
I said, “Too bad! They are opposite. Why don’t you
change them quickly?” She said, “It’s all right.
I will change them when I get home!”
We had 25 guests from Fukujukai, the senior citizens
club in Yokkaichi, for our Omochituki, rice cake making.
They taught us making omochi and making paper planes.
It was an exciting experience for all the children and
some came to like Omochi..
Our children enjoyed the foreign students visit last month.
As well as playing together, they sang and played the bells
to welcome them. The accompanying Japanese teachers
praised our children that they can pay attention and listen
to others very well.
